Project Details

We worked with our client to investigate and evaluate a number of potential opportunities for a new building that would allow valuable services and programs to be offered in a dignified space.

Located along Bow Trail across from the Westbrook Mall, the constrained site informed the building design. The  project will deliver more than just a mixed-use development. It will be a catalyst for ongoing development within the neighbourhood and will support families within the surrounding community and throughout Calgary to stay together.

    The development will boast 26 affordable housing units that meet Canada Mortgage and Housing (CMHC) guidelines.

    The facility is fully accessible based on universal design standards and includes an extensive programming exercise, strong urban infrastructure, and an embedded system of social well being elements through the incorporation of community focused programs. This includes a family resource centre, an integrated indigenous cultural centre, and a rooftop amenity space. The operations will be supported by several tenants with aligned values and goals.
