Melissa entered the industry in Edmonton in 2010 as an architectural technologist. She continued working as a technologist while obtaining a management degree while interning for a nonprofit architectural firm in the United States. This experience solidified her resolve to pursue her Master’s and become AAA registered. Melissa has worked on a wide range of projects including healthcare, institutional, and commercial, but her primary focus has been on multi-family and mixed use projects in Calgary and Washington, D.C. She is passionate about sustainable design as well as the nonprofit aspects of the profession. A team player with a keen attention to detail and an aptitude for the technical, she continually strives to find tasteful, pragmatic solutions to design challenges.
