This major renovation and addition to the Edmonton (North) Mail Processing Centre was a signature component of Canada Post Corporation’s (CPC) ambitious nation-wide transformation program.
Project Details
The design was focused on improving efficiencies in mail distribution within north Edmonton and its surrounding area.
Elements of the modernization included accommodating flush and high docks for the delivery vehicles, architectural coordination with the new high-tech mail distribution systems, improving staff amenity spaces, new public and staff entries, revitalized administration and operation areas, the modification of vehicular traffic on site, the upgrading of select building envelopes, and improvements to the building’s fire and security systems were all undertaken in and around this mail distribution hub.
