METAFOR was engaged to prepare a long-term renovation and new furniture programme for seven existing lodge sites owned and operated by Silvera.
The program had to be unique to each home while establishing a sense of consistency that weaves together all of the sites, to support a new “look and feel” for Silvera environments. The goal was not just to update, but to transform these spaces into hubs of intellectual, creative, social, and culinary activity.

Innovation is at the heart of this renovation.
The design team took a bold approach by selecting unique colors and patterns that beautifully complemented the existing warm, neutral tones. These senior-friendly aesthetics found their way into wall coverings, flooring, furniture, and lighting fixtures — injecting biophilic design and fresh vibrancy into the spaces. The results have been nothing short of remarkable. Residents and staff alike have embraced the redesigned spaces with open arms. They find them not only modern, but also more welcoming, functional, and flexible.
