Alpine’s architectural design embodies a contemporary mountain aesthetic that seamlessly integrates with the local character. Key design features include:
- Building Massing: Vertically articulated with stepped gable roof forms that break up the north and south facades.
- Timber Frames & Balconies: Heavy timber frames and balcony treatments add depth and visual interest, with balconies integrated into roof forms to reduce mass and enhance light and shadow play.
- Front Entrance: Facing Bow Valley Trail, the entrance is designed for protection and visibility, using accent colors, branding elements, and strategic materials to create a visually prominent feature that draws attention and establishes a strong street presence.
Alpine, Canmore not only offers luxurious accommodations but also thoughtfully addresses site constraints and harmonizes with the surrounding environment through innovative architectural solutions.
